Video Game Reviews and Industry News

The title says it all – we’re looking for people to spread the word about KNM, and for doing so they will get a chance to receive this sealed retail copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum for PC. Its as easy as that. I picked up an extra copy just to give  away to one of our awesome readers. We’d love to be able to cover more games for you, but those pesky jobs get in the way, ya know? So, in an effort to boost traffic to the site, we’re going to start having giveaways! This is the first of what is likely to be many more to follow.

To enter:
Link to us on your blog or retweet this post on twitter. Cool note, you can do both and be entered TWICE. So, if you create a blog just to link to us and also post on twitter will you get two entries? YES.

For twitter, you can even just click below or click the bird up top:

To link to KNM from your blog, we need to be either in your blogroll or links section. It needs to be easily viewable wherever your links are kept. Link directly to the main website:

http://kennedynewmedia.com

TO HAVE YOUR ENTRY(S) COUNT:

Send an email to: tim@kennedynewmedia.com with the URL of your blog and where I will find the link. Also, link your twitter feed so I can see the RT.

That’s it, folks! We will be running this contest until 11/22/09. So you have 2 weeks to get those links and retweets going. KNM will cover shipping costs of mailing the game to you as long as you’re in the US. If you’re outside I’ll see what I can do. It will arrive for you to play or to gift to your favorite gamer in early December.

Good luck!

Not since Marvel Ultimate Alliance have I truly enjoyed a comic licensed game. Then came Batman: Arkham Asylum.

And all is good.

The one-man show that is B:AA absolutely reeks with authenticity. From Kevin Conroy as Batman to Mark Hamil as Joker to Arleen Sorkin as Harley Quinn I was literally thrown back to after-school cartoons where I literally raced home to watch Batman: The Animated Series. I am a bit behind the times only just finishing it, but, being one of my favorite games of 2009, it was worth the wait.

Press release below, but I just want to say that I am impressed with some of the releases that are getting the PhysX and now the 3D Vision Treatment. It seems like the number of titles are growing and from personal experience the feature sets are pretty good looking. From the pic below, the game looks utterly amazing.

About Me

Yo I\'m Tim - I love playing games, writing, and giving opinions about games. Bet you probably could have guessed that, eh? I\'m currently studying towards a Game and Simulation Programming degree, hoping to finish by 2012. Its my dream to be in the game industry, doing AI or anything else, really. Meanwhile, I\'ll be here posting about the games I purchase and the games I\'m fortunate enough to be asked to review. If there\'s a game you want to see, drop me a line. Lastly, I’d like to drop a shout to those who\'ve inspired me somewhere along the way: GiantBomb.com, eat-sleep-game.com, cheapassgamer.com. These guys are some of the funniest and most interesting game podcast crews out there and I just want to say thanks for keeping us laughing.
