Write for KNM! (Updated)

Posted by Tim On February - 24 - 2009

We are actively looking for contributors for Kennedy New Media. We primarily are looking for writers to contribute content in the form of reviews, news, editorials or potentially even a podcast. If you are interested in joining the staff permanently or just submitting articles, please send me 2-3 writing samples, or if you have any clips from published media please submit those. If you are interested in being a podcast host, experience would help your application greatly. I’m not looking for pre-established stars, but from previous podcasting experience it helps to understand how much work it is to produce a good show. If you’re willing to work your ass off consistently to create a great show then we should talk.

To be considered for paid work, we must have your samples!

Certain reviews are contracted to freelance writers, depending on the genre, timeframe, and game release schedule. KNM does not review every game released, but attempts to give a good sampling. If requesting paid work, please include desired word rate or per-article rate. This will be taken into consideration when work is being contracted.

We’re not exactly looking to do what everyone else has already perfected, so any unique skills that you bring to the table will work to your advantage and make you seem that much more attractive. Any questions and submissions should be emailed to the editor, Tim, at:

About Me

Yo I\'m Tim - I love playing games, writing, and giving opinions about games. Bet you probably could have guessed that, eh? I\'m currently studying towards a Game and Simulation Programming degree, hoping to finish by 2012. Its my dream to be in the game industry, doing AI or anything else, really. Meanwhile, I\'ll be here posting about the games I purchase and the games I\'m fortunate enough to be asked to review. If there\'s a game you want to see, drop me a line. Lastly, I’d like to drop a shout to those who\'ve inspired me somewhere along the way: GiantBomb.com, eat-sleep-game.com, cheapassgamer.com. These guys are some of the funniest and most interesting game podcast crews out there and I just want to say thanks for keeping us laughing.
